PT Mustika Bahana Jaya (MBJ) is a wood-working manufacturer based in Lumajang, East Java, specialising in Finger-Joint Laminated Board (FJLB). Since 1996, we have supplied furniture manufacturers, woodworking factories and wood product industries across Indonesia and international markets.

We work with three premium wood species — Rubberwood (Hevea brasiliensis), Merkusii Pinewood and Albizia Falcata — giving our buyers flexibility to source the right board for their specific application and market requirements.

Every board is produced to low-emission standards with consistent thickness tolerance, and we offer custom dimensions to match your production line precisely.

From Log to Finished Board

Four controlled stages from raw material selection to export-ready FJLB panels.

STEP 01

Raw Material Selection

Logs are graded by species, moisture content and structural quality. Only approved material enters production.

Cutting and finger jointing
STEP 02

Cutting & Finger Jointing

Timber is cross-cut, end-profiled with precision finger joints and glued under controlled pressure for maximum bond strength.

Lamination and QC
STEP 03

Lamination & QC

Finger-jointed strips are edge-glued and cold-pressed into panels. Boards are checked for flatness, thickness tolerance and emission levels.

Sanding and packaging
STEP 04

Sanding & Packaging

Panels are double-belt sanded to specified grit, cut to final dimensions and packaged with full labelling for export or domestic delivery.

Common Questions

What is the minimum order quantity?+
Standard MOQ is 1 × 20-foot container (~15–18 CBM, depending on thickness and species). Mixed-species orders can often be combined into one container. Contact us with your volume requirements.
Can you produce non-standard dimensions?+
Yes — custom thickness, width and length are available with MOQ. We regularly produce to buyer specification. Please share your exact dimension requirements when enquiring.
What are typical lead times?+
4–6 weeks from order confirmation. Custom dimension orders may require additional lead time. We will confirm exact timeline at quotation stage.
What finish options are available?+
FJLB is available sanded (S2S) or unsanded (rough). Standard sanding is 120-grit both faces. Finer sanding grades available on request. Surface treatment (priming, oiling) not currently offered.
Which port do you ship from?+
We ship from Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya. FOB Surabaya, C&F and CIF terms available. Factory collection also possible.
Can we request sample boards?+
Yes — sample boards (cut pieces approx. 300×300mm) can be sent by courier. Sample and shipping costs are at buyer's expense. Specify species, thickness and finish required.
